Welcome to Max & Co Tees – where personality, purpose, and paw prints collide. Founded by Johnathan Masterson and his husband Ernesto Nazario (creators of JohnVsGBM), our store began with a fight: a fight against brain cancer. After Johnathan was diagnosed with Glioblastoma, I channeled my energy into designing cancer awareness apparel to raise support, spread hope, and keep my creativity alive. That mission took off—and then my dog, Max, helped take it even further.
Max is more than our mascot—he is family. His goofy personality, loyal companionship, and endless love became a daily reminder of resilience and joy. With his spirit as our inspiration, we launched Max & Co Tees: a vibrant, expressive line of apparel that fuses my passion for art with the heart of our home—Max.

Hi there, I’m Max—the Chief Happiness Officer here at Max & Co. Tees!
I might just be a dog, but I know a thing or two about loyalty, kindness, and belly rubs. This shop was built by my dads with one goal: to spread love, laughter, and bold messages that matter.
At Max & Co., everyone is welcome—no matter who you love, where you're from, or how you identify. We’re proud to be Veteran, Latino, and LGBTQ+ owned, and we stand with all humans (and dogs!) who believe in equality, inclusion, and living life with joy.
This is more than just a shop—it’s a community. One built on love, purpose, and a whole lot of sass.
